Android is an open source platform for mobile development, it has surpassed expectations over the last several years and become the most widely utilized mobile platform. In the Android Programming courses students learn the architecture, API and techniques required to create robust, high performance, enterprise applications for Android devices. These hands-on courses, start from the beginning explaining how to acquire and install the Android platform, environment and architecture. Courses then ramp up, covering topics from GUI development to more advanced topics like creating and using Android Services allowing students to quickly become productive in working with the Android platform.
In this course, Android Development _ Advanced, topics include creating a Content Providers, communication using HTTP, the Handler Framework, multimedia programming and testing applications.
Prerequisites: Android Development _ Intermediate or equivalent experience.
