In this course student learn how to develop and deploy applications for the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch using iOS SDK and the Xcode Integrated Development Environment. The basis of this platform is the use of Objective-C as the development language and the Foundation framework which provides great user touch interface support. In this course students will learn how to take advantage of the iPhone SDK to create native iPhone, iPod touch and iPad applications. The course will guide students in obtaining the development tools and environment on Macintosh computers, provide students with basic knowledge of the Objective-C language, and explain how to develop and deploy applications using the XCode and Interface Builder programs. Other topics include using the emulator and deploying the application.
Prerequisites: There are no specific prerequisites for this course but prior Object-Oriented Programming experience is required.
