In this course student further their knowledge of how to develop and deploy applications for the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch using iOS SDK and the Xcode Integrated Development Environment. Topics include Mapkit and Core Location, Storyboards, Objective-C categories, Animations, UIWebView, Accessing Memory Management, and UIResponder.
Prerequisites: iOS Platform Development _ Intermediate or equivalent experience.
VIRTUAL OPTION is available for this class. Choose “VIRTUAL – Live at Your Desk” from the Course Choice drop-down menu. Students still participate in classes, but do so virtually via a computer and internet connection using WebEx. There are additional requirements for students to run this IOS class virtually:
1. You need a reasonably new Mac computer capable of running OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion or OS X 10.9 Mavericks, which is the latest OS from Apple.
