Hibernate is an open source object/relational (OR) persistence and query service for Java that lets you develop persistent classes following common Java idioms. This course covers Hibernate capabilities. Topics include mapping and persistent classes, using Session and SessionFactory, HQL, and eager queries.
Prerequisites: Intermediate Java Programming or equivalent experience.

VIRTUAL OPTION is available for this class. Choose “VIRTUAL – Live at Your Desk” from the Course Choice drop-down menu. Students still participate in classes, but do so virtually via a computer and internet connection using WebEx.
