JavaScript is used in HTML documents with object and event handlers to add new features and create a richer, more interactive user interface on web pages. In this hands-on course students first learn JavaScript syntax, then move on to working with the DOM, and developing and debugging across browsers Topics include basic JavaScript syntax, event handlers, multiple windows, form validation, and how to respond dynamically to user actions and cross-frame communication.
Prerequisites: HTML5 and CSS3: Essentials or equivalent experience. Prior programming or scripting experience is also helpful.
